Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) are the two popular buzzwords these days. They both are improving our lives. Uses of AI are various from recommending articles to peruse, items to buy, a virtual assistant for our help and so forth. Correspondingly, IoT is advancing by making everyday lives more quick witted and more intelligent. Since, these two fields seem, by all accounts, to be diverse fields, would they say they are contending with each other or is there a way they can help each other develop?

Let us start with understanding what is AI and how it functions?

Artificial Intelligence is a subfield of computer science which goes for making computer systems perform tasks that by and large require human insight. The field is further separated into many branches, for example, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Anomaly Detection, Robotics.

Machine learning algorithms begin with the accessible data and begin investigating it. They attempt to discover patterns in the given data. These patterns are enhanced as an ever increasing number of data comes in. Once the pattern is recognized, the algorithms can be utilized for making predictions. And furthermore to recognize anomalies.

So also, IoT is helping AI by giving a gigantic amount of data from its sensors. This information is pivotal since it empowers machine learning algorithms to enhance their outcomes.

Along these lines, AI and IoT are the fields that are supplementing each other to develop, enhance and benefit the human beings. However, these two seem, by all accounts, to be distinctive areas/fields, they are associated with each other. Let us hope that the progressions in one field will help the other one to develop.
